Incompetance

I have a loan with FNB & due to unforeseen life difficulties I defaulted on a few payments, they then sent my account to Collab Collections which is understandable. I then made arrangements with a gentlemen call Ramon Bens telling me how great sure swipe is & how it'll benefit me. I signed up for this & everything went well for almost a year, not missing one payment. Then I receive a message stating the balance of R11439.40 thanking me for a payment. A month thereafter I receive a message reminding me to make payment & showing a balance of R22341.67. My debit order went off as per normal but because these amounts reflected this way I then had to investigate & find out for myself what my balance should then be. My starting balance was R34466.89 which when I contacted them I advised that I would pay R500 immediately & R1500 at the end of the month & every month thereafter till the bill is paid up. This was August 2017 to date I have not missed payment but then receive another message this time demanding a settlement payment of R22353.40 within 7 days to avoid legal action. I couldn't understand this as my debit order went off for June 2018 so the amount should be R1500 less not R11.73 more as one of the reasons I agreed to join sure swipe was that they stated no more interest is added. I have called in & spoken to many different agents but no manager as the manger is always busy or states will call back or now the latest is on sick leave, regarding this matter. All i get is apologies but what is an apology going to bring into my pocket? They have requested statements from FNB to see the payments made & yet the numbers still don't knock. Now when I take 34466.89 & subtract the very first payment of R500 & thereafter 11 payments of R1500 without interest being added I get R17466.89 simple maths. I do not see why this cannot be rectified as I am struggling to get a business off the ground but with these numbers affecting my credit score I am not succeeding. I would like FNB to look into this & assist these people with getting it right. As I shudder to think what my credit score would look like this coming month. I have been promised a call back from the manager Edmund Abrahams but I doubt I will be receiving a call therefore I am taking this drastic step. A bad credit score is not something that you can easily shake.

So I complain about FNB on HELLOPETER and FNB responds and assists with the matter the very next day impressive right? So I thought at first till I realised almost a year later I am still struggling with the same issue. I was promised that all interest will be removed from the account or outstanding amount and no more interest will be added as my original agreement my COLLAB. I was then told that because the systems cannot be altered the amounts will remain but when I get close to the end of the outstanding amount for it to be written off. I started receiving balance sms's from COLLAB stating amounts that was far higher than what it is supposed to be even with the amount written off. I called the company forwarded emails & so on & was advised that it will all be rectified (again). To my surprise it wasn't, so with continuous calls & complaints to COLLAB I was then advised that FNB was still adding interest on the account. I disputed all amounts & asked for it to be looked into. I was given the run around till I threatened to come back to HELLOPETER this got the attention of the Manager at COLLAB he would send emails to FNB & after send their responses to me. This lead to FNB trying to give me a settlement amount that was still going to equal to double the amount of what I owe. The cheek! I will not be paying any more than the amount I owe. FNB manager Shiela Chiloane has been ignoring communication sent from the COLLAB manager. I was advised from him to contact her directly which I find unfair as this matter should have been resolved ages ago. If this matter is not resolved this month I will be taking it further to the Ombudsman, one cannot except such bad customer service that you have to deal with a signal query for 2 years.
