Inability to load accurate bureau records.

FNB just cannot get the simple things right, like updating bureau records which is a key requirement as a credit grantor.

I switched from a platinum client holder to a private client last year. Ever since then I’ve had two credit cards with the same credit limit each and two fusion cheque accounts with the same facility amount each loaded on my bureau records which is incorrect as I still had the same account numbers. I didn’t apply for additional cards. I can see these on my clearscore report, directly on experian and on transition.

After numerous follow ups with Melissa the so called private banker that was assigned to me and a number of promises that it will be resolved and eventually a promise that it was resolved, the issue was in fact not resolved and I ended up closing my fusion cheque and my credit cards with FNB in early June.

Now two months later my bureau records still shows that I have two credit cards, the one in fact still shows a balance and it shows that I have two facilities of which one is closed.

This is adversely affecting my bureau score and will affect any credit that I apply for and FNB just couldn’t care less. They don’t even respond to complaints on any platform.

I have built my credit score over years and kept it in good standing for years. I want this resolved once and for all as this is absolutely pathetic

Reviewer Update
And half a month later FNB STILL HAS NOT PROVIDED ANY FEEDBACK OR PROOF THAT MY BUREAU RECORDS HAVE NOW BEEN UPDATED.
Pathetic!!!
I’ve worked with bureau updates before and know that urgent requests have a turnaround time of 48 hours but clearly FNB couldn’t care less about my bureau records being updated, they got their money.
Not once have I ever been in arrears on my account. In fact I’ve always paid more then the repayment, even on my home loan. But they have their money. Why bother doing the right legally obligated thing as a credit provider and update bureau records?
