In what way can removing a service ever be for the convenience of the person being served?

How does this work: --- At FNB, we are dedicated to offering you services that make the way you bank more convenient, saving you time and money. For your convenience, you can access statements via the FNB App or Online Banking.

From 1 June 2023, your statements will no longer be sent via email. --- Currently, I can get my statements on the App and I also get them by email.

Now, for my convenience, I can only get them on the App.

Huh?

Reviewer Update
FNB contacted me and basically said nothing. It's just spin. Oh well not a biggie. What is a biggie is the next review I'm trying to load by hellopeter seems to only allow one at a time. Assuming I won't be able to open a new review after I finish that let me tell the story here.

I made an eWallet payment some time ago. The recipient didn't get it so we sorted ourselves out a different way. In the past, I've had unclaimed eWallet's just return to me. So I waited. When it didn't return I contacted FNB to ask if it would "bounce back". They seemed uncertain but asked "would you like it returned". I said yes but I don't want to be charged a fee. I know that they absolutely fleece you for fees if you ask them to return an eWallet. I also know that you can request the return yourself, then the fees are lower. Anyway, what do you think they did. They organised to return it and fleeced me R65. Sigh.
