In branch linked device is considered to be not a verified device

When one link your device / phone to your account at a branch it is surprisingly still not considered a verified device. First one need to transact with an "unverfied phone" for an amount exceeding R301 before it is considered verified. How can this be security at heart if you force a customer to transact on a device you considere not verified before it is verified? So now you cannot assist me with ***** while I am in hospotal due to linked device being considered not verrified. Everyday this payment attempt is triggered, everyday you take bank charges from me and everyday I lose money. FNB is the ombudsman aware of how you o business?

This is a reflection on how serious FNB is to servie their loyal cusotmers.

They claim to investigatie but without any personal details obtained. How?

In the meantime my bank charges escales due to unothorized international debits that cannot be stopped now due to a policy that makes no sense. This is my wife's account; she is in ICU and you have this attitude? How should she get upi and do something about it; why should one transact before verified?

One go to a branch in persion to verify your phone then when you leave it is still not verified until you transact. What if the phone is ****** and the ******** hack and transact? Great FNB then the device was just verified by a ******** giving the ******** even more power . How did your Chief Risk Officer get this appointment?

Must be the worst attitude towards customers I witnessed in my lifetime. If this is how you manage risk then one have reason to worry about your money kept in your bank!
