In a foreign country without currency as account

I left for Europe on the 22nd Feb. When I requested a euro card I was offered the global account sca benifit for a private banking client. On more than one occasion I itterated to my personal banker that I cannot arrive in Europe and have money problems. He assured me I wont. I specifically asked if I do a trf if it will refect immediately and was told YES I must just refresh my profile. My personal banker as well as a chat agent advised me that is the case. Again in the week I asked to be 100% sure and again I was told not to worry. It is immediate. I arrived at my hotel and coulnt pay with the global card as the funds I transfered saturday was still not reflecting!! Exactly what I said and iterated should not happen. I cannot trust FNB to ve safe with money and assure me Im ok when I travel. If FNB does not refund the service fees on my cheques card that I now have to use seeing that the global card is useless and u reliable I will refer it to the ombudsman. I send my private bank a sms to say Im in big trouble as I dont have extra funds to just pay. He didnt even respond. Every single cent service fee better be refuded. I am teporting this to the ombudsman on monday as I now sit in another country, having currency issues and not funds available after a transfer!! The humiliation for card decline in another country is the worst!! Thank you for that FNB!! I want the fees back into my accoubt and my euro card fixed before 9am tomorrow morning!!!!
