******* pledge placed on Business Account

FNB truly is a terrible bank.

A pledge was placed on funds on my business account two weeks ago. After getting hold of my Relationship Manager (at a time convenient to him I might add) after two days, I explained the transaction and was told that all will be in order.

Today I find ANOTHER pledge placed on the account without any approval from me or any indication from FNB as to why this was placed.

Once again, after about 3 hours trying to contact this business, I find myself without help, explanations or even a valid contact number for the branch.

FNB truly is a terrible bank.

If this is how business accounts are managed at FNB then it is absolutely clear why South Africa is rated as Junk by the rest of the world.

I'm quite certain that this message will not get any responses or even a reaction from this listed company. It's atrouscious how clients are treated and how easily a bank can *******ly withhold funds from a clients account.

If a response is posted regarding this mess please consider my frustration and have a person who is competant and able to actually assist me.

Hi Naomi,

I've tried to contact you on the given number. No response. I understand that you work on the complaints/detentions department and you probably have hundreds of other complaints to manage.

This is however NOT MY PROBLEM.

I have not yet heard back from the Relationship Manager on the account nor have I received any indication regarding when or how this would be resolved.

I havent heard from John Volmink (in your risk department at Bank City)

I am not surprised. Just disappointed that FNB could care less. But clearly someone would have to pay FNB to do anything that exceeds expectations.

I AM WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO MY BANKS PROCESS FAILURES AND INCOMPETANCE.

Im still waiting for a call.

I'm not sure marking this as urgent would help...

Yours in disappointment and regret,

Mr. Maharaj
