I'LL SAY IT AGAIN - FNB COLLECTIONS IS A **** SHOW

Here we go again - this is the 2nd Review I've needed to write in about 2 weeks' time. FNB Collections and the whole lot are just useless. My Personal loan *** has been paid in full on 26 July 2024. I have requested a final paid up letter and confirmation of closure of this account since then, and no one gets back to me. They sent me an sms this morning to remind me that my Credit insurance will lapse due to non payment of this account!!!! I have settled the loan!!!! FNB decided to take another debit order of R500 on 1 Aug 2024 which I have been asking to be refunded to me over and over and over again and they just ignore my emails. They sent me an interim paid up letter on 5 August 2024 so that means someone at FNB knows that I've settled the loan but never passed the message on to the rest of the group - this is such pittifull service to say the least!

Then I also have a Revolving Loan ***508 which was also settled in full and I have received the final paid up letter - however this account also still remains active and I still receive reminders that I need to repay this loan!!!! What the hell is going on????

Oh and then I've spent 2hours this morning trying to get through to someone in the Collections department to assist me with all of this. One consultant literally listened to my entire query, told me he will assist in trying to resolve this - he put me on hold and just transferred me to the next available agent. That's the way to treat customers, right??? None of the consultants were able to assist me and I am tired of sending email after email, holding on the phone for hours on end with no resolution whatsoever!!! I am tired of FNB as a whole!!!

Never in my life will I bank with FNB again!!! They should change their slogan - it's not "How can we help you?" It's more like "How can we make life hell for you?"

You have no sense of what good customer service is and you don't even adhere to your own policies regarding query resolution timelines etc. Hopefully by writing this review - someone at FNB will be in contact with me again!!!
