I would like to get some clarity regarding a refund that was paid into my account on the 1 July 2021 from Woolworths

I would like to get some clarity regarding a refund that was paid into my account on the 1 July 2021 from Woolworths. How could a refund show as -R129.00 but it's a refund. Could someone please explain that to me. Maybe I'm missing something? I wish that FNB can start to deduct their charges upfront like Capitec bank and not at the end of the month, then you don't even know what the fees was for.
