I want my money today!

ok...

Thursday I closed my one savings account and opened another. The person on the phone who helped me told me the balance of the old savings account would be put into my cheque account.

10min later he phones me back and told me he made a mistake and the money will be in the new savings account and accessible within 48hours.

Today is Monday...and still no money.

Thus far I have a called 4 times today. And every time I get the same "we will look into it and get back to you in an hour"

I have yet to see if the 4th call will yield any results.

I am putting this here like I have told every call centre employee. If I don't get my money today I am going to SAPS and reporting a *******. Because this is a *******. I don't have access to my money and no one seems to tell me where it is or when I'm getting it.

If I was to be late or short on a payment and they would simply send my accounts into overdraught and I would get nailed with massive interest...and all I can get out of them is....

Call 4 actually called me back...late....but at least its an improvement. "Sir your issue has been escalated and I they tell me the money will be in my end of tomorrow" When I asked to speak to "they" she didn't want to transfer me. I really want to know why it should take 5+days to transfer money from my own account to my own account? I state again...if I was late with a payment or a debit order went off when I had insufficient funds I would be nailed with interest. What's going to happen now? Am I getting that juicy interest on my money?

This is pathetic. How bad did your employee mess up? It took me 5min to transfer my money out of my account and make my new account and it apparently impossible for all the people I have called over the last few days to fix his error? Yesterday when I called I was told the money would be in that day. When I asked when I was told that the day only ends at midnight and that they don't know...well midnight came and gone...6am the next day came and gone. You guys brag with your excellent customer care....maybe you should train staff less in customer care and more on how your banking systems work...because I don't see another reason why you cant give me back my own money...that you took without my permission...back to me in 7!!! days. I am now going to take this matter further with : https://www.faisombud.co.za/ https://obssa.co.za/ I am now done wasting my time calling FNB premier line because apparently that is as effective at getting my money back as hitting my head against a wall...
