I thought this was supposed to be a great bank...

I was told by several people to move from my current bank to FNB. This included a Cheque and credit card.

I arranged to have the cards delivered to my work address. I received an SMS asking for some info for the credit card which I mailed to the requested address.

The day of the delivery, it so happens that someone else in my office was also expecting cards. I received a call from reception to inform me that the cards are here. When I arrived at reception the courier delivering the cards had a serious bad attitude towards my colleague.

He requested proof of my address. I have just bought a new property, and had no bills yet. It was still in the process of being transferred into my name.

I gave a partial copy of the contract to the courier which indicated the address, he said this isn't sufficient he wants the whole contract. I refused to give it to him, as the rest of the information on the contract has nothing to do with him or the bank.

I never received the cards. FNB did not even care to ask what happened. They just terminated the accounts. They DO NOT care about their customers or any potentially new customers.
