I recently opened a non residential account with Fnb as I am a remote worker and wanted to receive my salary there. I explained the circumstances and what I intended to get from them. Mind you I am not even in South Africa. They withheld my salary saying they want FICA documents . I gave them all my contracts and my source of funds and they continue withholding my salary. Truely I need the money, I work hard and I have a family to take care of . The non residential account division are not helpful let alone they dont even engage with their customers. I truly regret banking with FNB. If possible run away ..
