I havd been with FNB as a private client for over 7 years but I have battled to access any of their credit facilities even when my credit score is good. While it is understandable that FNB needs to manage its risk/exposure, it is disheartening that my vehicle was financed by Absa in 2021. At the moment I am getting offers for credit cards and loans from everyone except FNB. This issue has been raised on some platforms e.g. X,, and now I start to believe the theories that have been raised in terms of client profiling by other clients I think it doesn't make sense to continue using a bank that does not reciprocate the trust you yet they are happy to benefit from your resources - this will be my last month with FNB.
