I do not feel safe with a bank that uses its customers for dubious agendas

Yesterday morning, I called fnb customer care at about 8:30 am in a bid to alert them that an amount of R79,99 was deducted from my account without authorisation. Firstly, I'm at home sick and am taking meds that would ensure I sleep during the day. I expressed this to the agent who seemed to shrug off my concern of ********** activities happening in my account and that I might not be able to do anything due to meds, yet she continued to tell me use my cellphone banking to reverse. I still cannot find this debit order yet it happened. She also scared me when she stated that their contact details are hidden thus she cannot contact them. The only thing she would do is to escalate so that an 'investigation' be done within five working day. Really? It is not the first time I logged a complaint nor reversed debit orders from these phantom people. The agent just told me to reverse it this morning missing the point completely. She missed the point as it's not about the amount taken from me, it's about how easy ******** can access my bank account, how easy the bank accepts and allow a debit order without checking with me first. Why don't they alert me if a new debit is loaded? I've never authorised a company called Big Five. I'm sure that some officials are benefiting from this if any because I notice they also debited last month in July as well!!!! Fin24 also gave a startling report on these ********** activities. I'm reaching a stage where I would want to close my account at fnb because the relationship is not working anymore. I get a lot of calls from call centres saying they were sent by fab to offer me this and that! Where is my safety in that? I want all debit orders taken by big five to be reversed into my account or I will have no choice but to take my account elsewhere. I'm tired of feeling abused under the watch of relationship management or sort yet there's a non existent one. Please listen to my recorded and heated call yesterday which got me nowhere! The service was pathetic and agent had no empathy whatsoever! Sick and tired and want something to be done. Feb, it is time to wake up and realise that your security systems need to be tightened for the sake of keeping loyal customers like me!
