How on earth do you get a response?

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to close my FNB accounts since last year.

I sent another email to the private banking service suite in which they responded that I needed to send them a cancellation letter and closed the request.

I responded that I had previously sent cancellation letters and the other information they needed. They have since closed my request 3 times. With each close I contact them and say my request is not concluded and I still need help. 2-3 hours later I get another closed response.

How do you get them to help you with anything? One call to open an account 6 months (and counting) to close one.

I'm still being charged bank charges, my credit card has been removed off my internet banking profile so I can't make payment on bank charges but they incur the charges and then affect my credit record because I didn't pay.
