HOW MAY WE HELP YOU

I personally have to add my voice to the absolute shoddy customer service, not to mention their blatant disregard for the human beign. In short, Just yesterday, to go draw an ewallet, cost me personally Tellephone calls - R60 / Extended Parking - R75 / 3.5 hours of my time and 65 km motorcycle travel and guess what, Its a day later and I am no further. Also need to mention, that you try find the help line number at an FNB ATM in case you have a problem....non existant. After beating my abilities to shreads last night, because really, think about it....HOW CAN FNB BE WRONG...It must have been my ignorance as a pensioner that created my miss fortunes, UNTIL THIS MORNING...and what started off as a calm process, with the intentions of learning how it all works, and educating this old pensioner....so that i dont have to spend my latter GOOD YEARS I HAVE LEFT under stress. and lo and behold, after 4 hours of dedicated focus, copious amount of reading, I could just not get things to work. In desperation, I endured another 45 minutes waiting for the call center to answer and to my amazement, after so many attempts, a HUMAN VOICE sounded out. I was overwhelelmed. The long and the short of it is simple. I, as a pensioner, IT challanged and on the brink of a break down thought my problems were over. Sadly, this was not the case. The HUMAN i spoke to made it crystal clear, that I had no options but to wait the 24 hour period before I could attempt to draw the ewallet again. I pleaded to discuss this issue with his superior, which reluctantly was granted this privilidge, expecting the SENIOR MANAGER would have the solution, the authority to rectify what had to be done and all would be well. What i did learn from this ordeal, and hopefully i can help some out there that have been in a similar situation, is the following: If THAT IS THE SYSTEM IMPLIMENTED, NO MANAGER, NO CALL CENTER, NO HUMAN BEEGN IN THE ENTIRE OF THE FNB GROUP OF COMPANIES CAN CHANGE IT. The machine and the system direct all the humans in the entire orgonisation. The end result. I am waiting until 16.55 pm, I will get on my motorcycle again...travel the 70 km once again, Pay for the additional running costs and fueal, as well as the parking again, and i must admit, a FNB HUMAN did advise me, that if i had any trouble when at the atm, JUST PHONE THE CALL CENTER or POP IN TO THE NEAREST BRANCH. and adding at the end..."And how may we help you" So, hold thumbs all goes well, and with a lil luck, I will be able to give a report back tomorrow......but dont hold your breath...you may end up with less years than I have left. A quick calculation, on a R1500 ewallet, after all expenses and costs....I shud get out about R850.00...and the kicker is, this is the same banking institution that reports on the billions the group made the last financial year, and no doubt, pay the directors handsome bonuses, and they have the ****** cheek to ask me "how may we help you". PS. I refused to even take the time and effort to edit grammar spelling etc as i will not waste another second of my precious time. ENJOY.
