How many people does it take to open an account? Sound like the opening to a joke but is sad reality.

I spoke to an FNB, 1 August about opening a dollar global account. I have followed up almost daily, and also spoken to two different service consultants. Still no global account. I am now looking to open an investec account because perhaps they will work faster then FNB who clearly takes more than a month to open the global account. I have lost money in this process, guess FNB won't be refunding me for their incompetence.
