how long is enough

How long will FNB punish me for defaulting on a personal loan when I had tough times a few years ago? Today I app**** for a homeloan, was declined because of the personal loan that I defaulted on.. thjs is beside the fact that two years ago wesbank gave me a personal loan which I settled eay without defaulting.. I have now another wesbank loan which I have not defaulted on... i have two cars that I have never defaulted on and have no unpaid items on my bank account..

I find this to be grossly unfair & as such will be closing my new fnb account bcus then it seems like fnb will always remind me of that personal loan.. highly dissapointed at this bank and find tbis conduct to be totally unfair
