How long does it take to open an account, seriously!

I app**** online for my 2 children (aged 14 & 17) FNBy accounts, this was approved on 28 February 2018.

Then the emailing form requests started: Initially requests came through for me to fill out forms then the next week another set of forms, from somebody new, and then the next week another form or two, again from somebody new. The latest being today requesting the documents I have ALREADY sent through, with the exception of my ID which FNB have a copy of.

Their bank cards were "supposed" to take 3-5 days to get here, email was sent on the 12th March. From where are they coming because 20 days have past and today I get an email stating that a "hard hold" was placed on their accounts "due to outstanding KYC documents", this after I have filled in form after form after form, why could my private banker not say 'hey here's a bunch of forms I need to fill out and send through'. It seriously looks like FNB applications / private banking have communication issues!

I am past frustrated with FNB, as you probably could notice, as a private client I seriously expected a little faster turn-around time. I constantly ask myself why did I move to FNB????

If I do not get my 2 kids' bank cards in next week, I will close my account, their accounts and move away from the frustration called FNB.
