How hard it really is to "switch" to fnb.
We have an incredible new business and have since January been backed by three top businessmen in Cape Town.
We have been trying to open a brand new bank account for the past 4 months and have literally been sent from pillar to post in the tedious process of submitting an unending amount of documentation. The notion that "switching" to FNB cannot be further from the truth. The closed-loop call centre system where the barely capable person on the line is then not able to forward our call or bring in a manager is just where the process grinds to a halt. Any request to get assistance further up the chain of command is literally not possible and is blocking the opening of a bank account in the name of the business for a number of months now. The lack of communication and follow through is just the way it goes with FNB along with the numerous form requests and the resending of countless documents. No bank and therefore no business for us.
How hard can it really be?
