How do you justify these baking fees ?

I recently switched from another bank to FNB. As adveritsed, the switch was rather painless, however, it is the small print (which they don't tell you about in the adverts) which really hurt ! Have a look at these billing fees :

Debit order - where they so kindly do all the paperwork for you - R 16.00 each ! (my previous bank charged R 4.50)

Internet payment - R 7.00 while a smart app payment is R 1.50. Now this really gets me. They had to write both their website and the smart app. So why is the one 4 times more expensive than the other one ?

More over, swiping a card is for free, which makes me wonder who is paying for the machine which is doing all the swiping...

Come on FNB - you can do better !
