HOW CAN WE NOT HELP YOU AGAIN!

This is in responce to the BAD SERVICE from a bank (FNB) that promises you the world but cannot even close an account or for that fact even open one.

This is on your website First National Bank -

"We believe that help ignites help. It turns the helped into the helper, creating infinite possibility and infinite opportunity.
That's why even a little bit of it, has the power to go a long, long way".

It takes 6 weeks to get the proof of residence sorted out (After my complaint on this same webpage) then it takes even longer to close the account.

In the process I get charged for not using my account (R350.00).

After some heated debate there is an agreement to reverse the changes and put my account in a credit for R2.41.

This month I get charged R268.32 for NOT using my account again.

How many of you get ********** like this every year. Add the costs that is why the Bankers can live the way they do, off the backs of the hard working citizens of this country, talk about abuse.

I own a small business and seem to have to work harder every year to give to those that do not want to work or supposedly want to help you but cant.

If I am one of say 100 business owners that are in the same predicament with a bank in this country, you are looking at a sum of about R350 000.00 for a month that a bank would get for NOT being able to do there work properly, that amounts to R4 200 000.00 a year for doing nothing.

I have to work very hard to earn that.

Failed debit orders, banks make as quoted by money web:

Banks cream it off bounced debit orders
Fees charged by banks for bounced debit orders range from R5 to R115.
21 June 2017 00:03

"Banks are raking in between R500 million and R800 million a month from bounced debit orders. That’s a sizeable portion of the banks’ non-interest fee income each year for little more than running a piece of computer code."

So are we being **********. YES

So what are we paying in bank costs per month? Very scary to think of.

We work hard so the rest can relax, that is a very good business deal if i must say so. Shame on me for not coming up with that solution.

All I want is the service that I am intitled to as a Private Banker. (Actually not any more as I have closed all my accounts with FNB).

Why do we have to resort to this to get what we are paying for.

Were is good old fashioned honesty?

I could probaly go on and on but I think I might be lucky and get my business account closed tomorrow.

Thanks Hello Peter, Good Service.

Hi Naomi
Thank you for your appology but as usual it is always the person that is not responsible for the mess that has to appologise. My appologies to you for having to deal with this.
I do not want any call centre agent calling me as they mostly do not know what to do.
Please can you have the amount reversed on the Business account and close it as this is my last deallings with FNB.
Thanking YOU in advance for YOUR help
kindest regards
Peter Mercier
