How can we NOT help you.

I have been trying to access my Savings Pocket via the Online banking platform to adjust the settings for quite some time.

On the 7th of August 2017, I reported the error to the online banking support call centre, to Nosicelo Makhanya **********

Astonishingly she asked me to provide her with a screenshot of the error. I was amazed that after all the phishing warnings and disclaimers that FNB has, that the call centre asks for a screenshot of your error (containing all your financial information) to send it through to the technical department.

After speaking to her supervisor to acertain why a "screenshot" is needed, the supervisor said that the technical department require the screenshot in order to see the TECH REF NUMBER at the bottom of the screen (Which is much less invasive and easy to copy and paste into an e-mail), and She promised me that she will "Escalate" the problem. She promised that "someone" from the technical department would contact me within 48 hours.

After 48hours past, I called back in (because as suspected, no one called me back with any information), and was unable to speak to Nosicelo. Spoke to Rachel Ndlovu ********** instead. She also promised that the back office admin (online support) would contact me.

After a couple of days, I sent an email to Rachel asking "What is the update regarding the query". Later that day, someone from the call centre called me. And again asked me for a "screenshot" of my profile and with no update as to why the error occurs, or as to what will be done about it, with yet another promise, that "someone will contact you before the end of business today". Still no call back.

I suggested that the "developers" can contact me directly, or provide me with a number that I can speak to them to try and resolve the error. With a generic answer of "our developers cannot call out" .

I would think that with a error query that is "unexplainable" . Developers of the FNB website would walk the extra mile to resolve the error.

As of that initial online report, nothing has changed, and effectively, FNB is keeping me from accessing my Savings account settings.

As with most of SA's service providers. Quick and eager to get the business, and get the customer, and take the customer's money, but much less eager to help with error's and queries that can potentially be detrimental to the Service Provider. The only thing that these guys do great is HELPING THEMSELVES to your hard earned money.

This is a generic reply to a very frustrating problem. No one is attempting to solve this. No feedback whatsoever.

Coming up to almost a month with no resolution. Someone called me on the 25th Claiming that the issue is due to my accounts not being linked. She promised to call me back before the end of the day....still waiting... Why do you guys keep making promises you cannot keep!!! What is the issue?? Still no resolve to the error! Next step is the ombudsman... I am tired of licking everyone's behinds for answers.
