How can we help you? Really you want to help me or pass on the problem?
There is a reason why bankers should not bother with cellphone packages and connection.... because when you phone them no one has an idea how what works and not even your private banker can assist. In the past week I have spoken to nine different people at First National Bank and still no clear answer or assistance.
Finally about a month ago I decide to change my cellphone service provider, this is a big step for me seeing that I need my cellphone daily for business and can not be offline. I do the deal online via fnb connect. It takes about a day for a number to be ported, I make arrangements accordingly. I get the phone and eventually the sim, I change my old sim to pay as you go so the transfer can take place. Two days without being able to make a call because no transfer has taken place. I call fnb and they say the problem lies with my previous service provider, which it did but no one bother to let you know (bad service). Its been a month and the number still hasn't been ported with not one soul communicating with you.
My work pays for my cellphone seeing that 90% of the calls I make is for business. But like any other business if they don't get an invoice they don't pay. I have battled through nine different people this week to just try and get an invoice. Business owners please don't go for the fnb connect as it is impossible to get invoices you will not be able to claim it or for tax purposes.
Now according to consumer law, if you pay for something you get an invoice. I have now moved all my contacts, been through all the trouble of moving my things over it is virtually impossible for me to change back. I now have to pay for this service myself, seeing I can't get a damn invoice.
How difficult can it be? The first thing you learn when you start a business is is to do an invoice. First National Bank is now costing me money. The bank who asks "How can we help you?" I have now lost my temper with them.
