How can we help you NOT!!!

We bought a house last year July from a private seller. The was held at FNB. We had secured a loan from SAHL and had 20% deposit with our lawyer. The owner did not want to sign for we were not prepare to more money into his pocket than the rent and the price for the property. He was subsequently declared bankrupted and house was repossessed by the bank. Since December 2014 we have been trying to get FNB to talk to us about the property as we are still interested in buying it. With no luck. The property is up for auction on Friday 24 July 2015.

Here comes the catch I am a FNB private client, have been with FNB for 7 years. This means nothing. I went through my private banker to see if I could arrange something so that we can buy the house. We were told today that FNB thinks they will get more for the property on auction as my offer and that they query the fact that I have a approved home loan as We were sequestrate 6 years ago.

We have spend more that R100000 on this property as we had a contract and already signed documents with the banks lawyers in 2014. Now we have to go to the auction with no guarantee that we will get the property. Why will FNB not help one of their own.
