How can we help you? No! How can we frustrate you?
At 14h35 on Tuesday, 26th January 2021 I made my first attempt at reaching ***, the FNB Fiduciary Support Centre, Deceased Reporting. I listened to canned music until 14h47 before someone answered. I could hear him, but he could apparently not hear me, judging from the number of "Hello's". I was cut off.: more than 12 minutes to no effect!
I phoned back at 14h54 and a pleasant young man by the name of Keabetswe answered at 14h54 and redirected me to another consultant who, he said, could assist me. Luckily he gave me a contact number, ***.
Again I waited for an answer from 14h54 until 15h03 only to get an answering machine telling me the consultant was not available, but to leave a message.
Nothing daunted, I tried a third time to reach a consultant, this time I was left hanging on for only a minute (15h07 to 15h08), but again I reached the voicemail box of extension ***.
Is it really possible that the bank with the motto: 'How can we help you?' can frustrate every attempt to contact Fiduciary Services for 33 minutes?
