HOW CAN WE HELP YOU BY CALLING ME A ****!

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU? How many times have you heard this advert? Well let me tell you my story and this now becomes a very false statement! 30 years of banking with FNB proved that loyalty and assistance means nothing when you really do need their help! A few weeks ago Peter and I went to FNB Kloof ATM to withdraw some money. There were 2 men at either atm when we arrived then they left down the side of the FNB building leaving Peter and I alone at the bank. Peter went to withdraw money with my card whilst I stayed in the car. Next minute a huge amount was withdrawn from my account so I went up to Peter and asked why he had withdrawn so much to which he rep**** no money and no card had come out and then the next withdrawal took place from my savings pocket leaving me all of R4 in my account. I immediately phoned FNB to cancel my card and then they put me through to the ***** department which took 18 minutes holding on. Needless to say they were unhelpful. To cut a long story short I went to the bank when the doors opened on the saturday (the very next day) to be told that my card wasnt there and they could not show me camera footage as on a Saturday they ran off skeleton staff! They opened the necessary paperwork and when I asked the bank manager what I was going to survive off until they got their investigation going, it was said flat out - PHONE A FRIEND OR FAMILY! Needless to say the story goes on for a very long time when FNB blatently told me in writing that there was someone who had been looking over my shoulder when we did this withdrawal and they would "out of good gesture" redeem some of the money from the savings pocket but if I wasnt happy with this then I could take the matter further which I did. I went to the Mbudsman and patiently waited. Today, I finally got the results from them to be told that I had compramised my pin number and clearly there had been someone there looking over my shoulder - what they did advise was that they were unable (now wait for this) to see any camera footage from the bank as not all ATM's have cameras at their ATM's so I must settle with what FNB so kindly offered! Considering I never use saswitch machines and my money was withdrawn from a SASWITCH machine down the road from the bank whilst I was sitting outside the bank in kloof waiting for the ***** department (everything of this is recorded via cellphone, e-mails etc) and then the 2nd amount was withdrawn in Pinetown, I cannot believe that FNB can basically make me out to be a ****! I take great insult to their attitude and I strongly advise everyone out their to take heed of what has happened to me and when you hear a friendly slogan of HOW CAN WE HELP YOU - trust me, they are not going to! I really ask you to please share this on all your pages - I dont wish this on anyone and if anyone has any bright ideas as to where I go from here - please let me know. I have all the proof and demand to see camera footage!
