After more than 20 years as a regular client, I received a letter of demand from the FNB regarding an amount of just R1,500 outstanding on my overdraft facility and threatening all kinds of action if I did not respond. I responded over a week ago and have had no acknowledgement of my response. Globally, banks are becoming far too full of themselves considering that they are just glorified safety deposit boxes.
