How can we help ruining your day
FNB once again fails to deliver on their empty promises. I had to apply for a new Credit Card (I reside in Gauteng). Over the phone they told me it will take 3-5 working days. It turned into exactly 3-5 working weeks!!! Except for failing to deliver, they cancelled my current one, which left me in a pickle (and earning less eBucks). I phoned and mailed. And phoned and mailed...They just did not react or deliver. I also complained to FNB Care: they should change their name to FNB Don't Care-which is exactly what the bank is about. This is also not the first time that this has happened. I app**** for two new cards in Decemeber 2013 and only received them in March. This was when I lived in the Western Cape. They took their time, sent it to two wrong branches...TWICE! Received them, got swallowed by the first FNB ATM, had to wait another few weeks. I have received better service from Department of Home affairs as well as the municipality and other government services. If you need a new card from FNB, rather get a new bank-it is much easier and less trouble.
