Missing EFT funds for Claus Kaminski 04.July 2019 I did transfer (EFT) money from my Nedbank Current Account to my teenage sons FNB saving card on the following dates: • 24.04.2019 R1,330.00 • 15.04.2019 R 250.00 • 04.04.2019 R 250.00 • 27.03.2019 R 270.00 I used the following account (card) number as I did on many occasions before: ***. Unbeknown to me, my son received a new card in March 2019 (card number *** – account no: ***), he told me on 06.May 2019, after he returned from an overseas trip in April 2019, that the funds, totalling R2,100.00 did not appear on his statement. I queried this with my Nedbank Lambton Branch and they provided me with proof that the funds were transferred to FNB. My wife contacted FNB telephonically and on branch lever (Hydepark Branch) on numerous occasions, only to be told that the funds never arrived at FNB. Again, I liaised with Nedbank (Mr. Sydney Notnagel – Tel:***) and he tried to establish with FNB what happened. He told me that the funds are sitting in the ‘Unclaimed Balances’ account with FNB and FNB is not willing to assist him tracing the funds. On 10.June 2019 I did email FNB (Compliments and Complains e-address) with my query, the email was acknowledged in writing via email and I was informed that a consultant will contact me within 24-48 hours. This has not happened yet, a month later. I elevated this issue to the Service Manager at Nedbank (Janine Jordaan; ***), who tried to address and finalise the matter with FNB. She informed me yesterday (03.07.2019) that FNB is refusing to assist her and I should contact the FNB ***** Division as she cannot help us any further. I phoned the FNB ***** number ***) and being put on hold for 25 minutes only to be told that I must contact 'On Line Banking@ as they can not help me. What about FNBs slogan ' How can we assist you??????? NB; I am still on hold. Perhaps someone else reading this review can assist? Udo Kaminski ***
