Household Insurance claim still not finalised in over two months

I submitted a claim for a damaged garage door on 8 August 2023. To date it's still not finalised, I've never received any updates etc. I had to resort to temporally fixing the door myself. Mind you, our garage is the entry point to our house. I pay my premiums without fail but FNB has failed to follow through my claim. Last I followed up they were going to get back to me and they still haven't. It's almost two months and they can't attend to such a small claim, I wonder how those with bigger claims are doing
