HORRIFIC SERVICE DELIVERY

For several months we have been attempting to close a Deceased Account with FNB's Deceased Estate Division. The deceased passed away in January 2014. Although the deceased was a citizen of Botswana and passed away in Botswana FNB refused to accept the paperwork issued and certified by the High Court of Botswana and requested the client to obtain documentation from South Africa. We submitted the correct documentation at a huge cost and up to date we have not received any feedback. Several phone calls and emails later we are still in limbo. We even went so far as to lay a formal complaint at the national complaints division of FNB without any success.

For example:
On 22/10/2015 I spoke to Ms J Sargeant who promised to attend to the matter. No feedback. She is also not available and passed the buck to Mr Senosi who is not responding at all.
On 17/11/2015 I spoke to Michael who promised to email me some feedback on the matter that same day. I am still waiting for that email.
On 19/11/2015 I spoke to Tebogo who asked for the particulars but did not give me feedback and passed the buck to his Manager, Ms Miriam Daniels, who was unfortunately not available for any feedback.
