Horrible service in handling a deceased Estate

FNB's lack of interest in helping people settle a deceased estate is truly a disgrace. Our lawyers have submitted a request back in November 2023 for FNB to close out and pay the remaining funds into the estate account to get it settled. 6 Months and countless follow ups and escalations later, nothing has happened. We have also not received any proper feedback for any reason for this lengthy of a delay. The case is also not complex as it only has normal bank accounts that need to be closed and paid out, nothing to sell, no investments but this is seemingly very difficult to do for FNB (to close an account and pay over funds due). If you have your bank accounts at FNB beware should something happen to you what you can expect in terms of service for FNB to help your dependents get the funds they depend on in a reasonable timeframe. Very disappointed with this poor level of service.
