Horrible service from the randburg branch

on Friday the 7th June I went to the randburg branch to close my cheque account since its been years that i havent been using i. i arrived at 12:49 and the lady that was assisting me not only was she constantly on her phone checking her emails and responding to her whatsapp messages but she couldn't even help me close my account.

I made sure that before i close my account that i paid up everything i owed FNB and i even showed her paid up letters but still i couldn't be assisted, i kept on being told that i have an active account thats preventing the closure on my cheque account. the matter took over an hour and still not resolved.

i was not happy at all with the service i received on Friday, if this matter isn't resolved i am going to get charged on this account end of the month and that time im not even using it nor do i still have a card

if I could get someone to please assist me in closing this account please

good day...

an update on this issue.

its 2 weeks later and my cheque account is still hasnt been closed. and this is because my revolving loan account isnt closed which was fully paid in January. no im not sure what FNB reasons are for delaying the closure of this account.

but please note i am not prepared to pay bank charges again on an account i havent used in over 2 years . the delay is on your side not mine.

i would like this matter resolved by COB today please, it really cant take a full month to close an account that i dont even owe anymore
