Horrible service for 4 entire months and they still haven't helped!
Utterly disappointed and exhausted with this institution. I lost my father in December 2020 and reported his estate to FNB Fiduciary (Durban) on 4 January 2021. Til this very day we have not even secured a letter of executorship. The communication is awful, I have lodged several complaints on their social platforms and their complaints section on their website. They have no curtesy to respond to emails nor the curtesy to answer their calls. I am the only on with an income at home and have had to accumulate debt in order to take care of monthly groceries, medical aid contributions for my diabetic brother who is currently in ICU and be able to service my own life in Johannesburg where I work and pay a bond and for my car. We've had incidents where a family member *******ly secured a letter of authority a month after we first reported the estate to the executors (FNB) and the only reason that even worked was because for a month after we had reported the estate to FNB, they still hadn't app**** to the Masters court for the letter of executorship. I've written so many emails and pleaded with them so many times to treat this matter as urgent. They are affecting real lives and it's awful. I bank with them but after all of this I will be moving banks and would never ever recommend nor nominate them to be executors of my estate when I'm late. They have thee worst service in that regard. Absolutely appalling.
