Horrible Service at FNB Mall@Reds

On June 10th I walked into FNB Mall@Reds so excited to close my Fnb account after many years on debt counseling. To my surprise the consultant Suzen Magaela and her TM Nompiliso Mamfengu were extremely incapable of the jobs they were appointed to do. Suzen advised me on the 10th that all I needed to do was to pay the interest occurred on the account of R140 and then the account would be closed. I left the FNB branch with Suzen and her TM promising me the account has been sent to their credit manager and will be closed shortly. On the 19th of June. I emailed my debt counselor to confirm that the account has been closed, and they advised me no. I was livid. After many emails, Suzen called me to come back to the branch to get the account closed. Her manager there at the time, literally sat down for 2 minutes, got up and when Suzen came back after 10 minutes, she advised that the manager had LEFT! I was ready to throw all my toys out the cot! I then left the branch again, with more promises of the account being closed. Yesterday was the last straw for me, I emailed Suzen again, and to my surprise her Tm Nompiliso respond very ****y that now I need to pay R127 bank fees and then the account will be closed. I then went into the bank again today, sat infront of Nompiliso, hoping the account will be closed, but after 15minutes of just sitting there, with Nompiliso completing her word, not saying a word to me or even an apology for taking long, I stood up and left. I then denied any access to FNB Mall @ Reds to this account. I hope this will be escalated as high as possible, and that my normal cheque account will be closed! How ridiculous is it that an account cannot be closed after 16 days??? How difficult is your job then if closing an account is this difficult? And Nompiliso, I hope your manager is aware of your horrible customer service and something gets done about this! I am sick of this, and ready to take my account and close it at another branch!
