Horrible Service

A app**** for an FNB credit card on the 3 July 2017. i received an SMS to advise that i need to send my documents (payslips and ID). I sent my docs on 5th July 2017. i was advise by the consultant that the process would take 3-7 working days before i get my card. On the 10 July 2017, i receive my quotation, i signed and emailed it back immediately. i was then advised by a consultant that i'll get my card 3-7 working days which would technically be the 17 July 2017. i then called FNB the Monday to ask rounabout what time they'll send my card, a consultant then told me that my application is in the Credit department and was never attended too. She then emailed a TL but no immediate response because i had to wait 24-48hrs. i laid a complaint on their website and the consultant called me the next day. She advised that my application hasnt been linked for assessment. FNB then emailed to say that i need to send my KYC which i did immediately. The customer card consultant told me that i'll get my card by Friday 21 July 2017 for the latest. Please note that it's been 11Days now. My Delivery phoned me to confirm that the card only arrived in JHB today 21July 2017 and i will only receive it on tuesday 25 July 2017. The people at Mr Delivery was trying their best to even use FedEx to have it delivered today but they confirmed that FNB never gave any instructions to where it needs to be delivered too. This is the worst service i have ever expereinced. i work for a financial institution and we aim to make outr customer journey pleasant. i tried phoning the customer care consultant again because i am so angry because now i have to wait 13days in total for a damn card. For an established financial institute they raves about great they are, their turn around time and customer experience is beyond pathetic. The company i work for is affiliated with the first rand bank and this experience just switched me off from ever switching to FNB. I am disgusted by the long wait because i had to escalate the matter first before anyone bothered even looking at my application. i chose FNB over my own bank but no i regret doing just that.
