hopeless system to activate card

I received a new credit card

I tried to activate it on line and change the PIN

I couldn't do that so I called the Private banking of which I am a member.

after two weeks of being passed back and forwards between private banking and online banking and of sending unanswered emails they sent me something called an pinmailer which changes the PIN

Except it made no difference other than to change the PIN to a number that they know and I can't see

So now I have a new card and no idea what the PIN is

SO I went into the branch - got ticket number 69 and they were serving number 57. at five minutes min per customer that was an hours wait

So I walked out and told them I was cancelling the card and going back to my standard bank card

I cancelled the card tonight

I spend about R30 k a month on my card

I was actually going to change from standard cos they are so bad - but I realise they are better than FNB
