Honouring Fee - #Item Paid NO Items ON

I have an FNB Premier Account, and no overdraft.

I however made purchases not knowing my account was low on fund. My Savings side still had funds. The transactions were honored and charged at R120 per a transaction. Note the transactions I made were generally under a R50. I checked my account afterwards and found multiple "#Item Paid No Funds. Reference is 5 items" my account now shows over R2000 in negative.

Contacted the "Team of bankers" on the app, and they confirmed this is due to honoring transactions. Now who in their right mind would make purchases under R50, having to pay R120 standard fee. Also, I do not understand why the transactions were not just declined. I confirmed I do not have an overdraft.

Nevertheless, I do not have the energy nor time to even fight this battle with FNB. This review is just to warn others, as it seems FNB is quick to rob people with additional fees.

I however am now considering using another bank.
