Honor fees charged

I did not have sufficient funds in my account when debit orders were due to go off. Today I received an sms that the accounst needs to be rectified by 15h00 otherwise the debit orders will be dishonoured. I don't mind them being reversed and me having to do manual payments, but when FNB charges me R120 per debit order for not having funds and then another R625 for honouring payments, I find this a joke.

At no point did I ever make a purchse wihout having funds in my account so FNB need no "honor" anything on my behalf. Every transaction was done with sufficient funds of which transaction cost was immediately deducted as soon as the card was swiped. I am now sitting with fees of R2600 owing to FNB for not having sufficient over and above the accounts I have yet to pay.

This is unacceptable and quite frankly a *******. I have never asked FNB to pay something on my behalf and never will. I have never received any real assistance from FNB and this just adds to it.

I have been a loyal client for many years and cannot believe they would over indebt their customers like this. Of the honor fees charged, this needs to be relooked at because like I said, there were available funds at the time of transacting. Further to this, if the merchant decides to only to their banking 2 weeks later, how is this my problem when the bank deducted it from my account on day of purchase?!?!?! This is really frustrating and quite actually soul destroying. One tries to make good but FNB just kicks you when you're down. You wait on the line for hours, secure chat is a bust because you wait so long it keeps logging me out and I really just want justification for these costs. On a debit order of R115 that did not go off, you charge me R125! Tell me what this is for because I just don't get it. Its not like there's admin that you're doing, you certainly have not paid the DO on my behalf because then I would have no problem paying FNB R125+ fees for their assistance. This is just straight up theft by a big bank preying on the little people.

Please look into my account and kindly reverse the fees raised for "honoring" my payments because I guarantee, you certainly have not.
