Home Loans - How can we not help you ?
Poor homeloan service. After applying for a Home Loan, it took FNB almost two months to come back with an answer to me that they have indeed declined the transaction for the reason that I cannot afford the bond repayment.
Their reasoning is that because the business, in which I am a director, has an overdraft with FNB, the overdraft can be called up with a month's notice and that would imply that I would have to pay the overdraft at once which means I cannot afford to buy a house. This is the most nonsensical reasoning I have heard in a long time. I earn a decent salary and have very little debt which means that I qualify for the bond repayment.
