HOME LOANS HAVE NO STAFF TO RESPOND TO CLIENTS

I am absolutely dumbstruck that South Africa has such a high rate of unemployment, and we have one of our large banks that have no staff to answer their clients' emails. Having written and called on several occasions in January 2025 with no assistance and then attempting to get the same situation addressed since end of May 2025 again with several emails sent, and to date I do not have answer to a pretty simple request. This concerns my Home Loan for which I occurred arrears during COVID. A payment plan was put in place and arrears were paid up a year ago. I have been trying for 6 months to obtain a reconciliation of the arrears. The entire debacle has had a detrimental effect on other factors that I am unable to resolve due to the banks lack of staff to assist their clients, or the staff are inefficient and cannot be bothered to even answer me so that I can officially address these additional factors. AND let me add I have also contacted their complaints department, and lo and behold no answer.

Reviewer Update
Well, the customer care department committed to responding within 5 business days as can be seen below - this is from a copy of their email to me AFTER MY REVIEW ON 13 JUNE 2025. (sadly, they don't respond to their clients' initial emails this fast)
Dear Customer,
Your feedback is important to us.
Complaint ***NF has been sent to the relevant Service Department.
We are committed to addressing your matter within 5 business days.

And then as per their telephonic response to me (HP review response), I expressed my distress at this taking 5 days to be resolved when I have been waiting since 22 May 2025 for a reconciliation - how difficult is this to do? are their staff so ***********? or does FNB actually have anyone employed at all to address their clients' requests??
This is simply ludicrous, and not to mention that this is basically a continuation of an attempt to get the reconciliation since January 2025.
Nothing short of despicable service from a company that has a tag line 'SERVING YOU BETTER'
