Home loan Readvance nightmare

The beginning of June we app**** for a readvance on our home loan with FNB Homeloans. This process has been a nightmare with FNB coming back with outtrageous request which we have jumped through hoops and hurdles to have done. Today is the 18th July. More than 1 and 1/2 months and still FNB comes back with more outrageous request. The worry part is that our bond is about =/-R4500. We pay R10000 which is double the required amount. The readvance would put our bond repayments to be +/-R4700. I have the following questions :

1. Why has our application been dragging so long.

2. Why is FNB requesting a letter from a accountant for the cheque account which FNB stated we must open to access the funds from the bond. They know this account is not used to access monies from the bond. Now we must get an accountant to write a letter. In this day and enconomy this is outrageous and it is money out of our pockets.

3. FNB outrageous request - Clarity from my husband company who the shareholders are and percentage. My husband is a director and does not own shares. We sent his salary slip in. FNB must please note that directors dont hold shares in a company. It is shareholders who have shares. What has this to do with our bond.

4. I sent my salary slip but had to send in 4 years of financial statements.

5. Both my husband and myself accounts are with FNB which clearly shows our salary being paid to these accounts.

6. Why do I have to send in my business financials. this has nothing to do with my loan readvancement.

When we app**** for this bond we never had these issues before. Why now?

I am totally unhappy with this unprofessional service from FNB
