Home Loan discount Interest rate

Very disappointing service from FNB premium banking department, on the 01/03/2017 15:29 I received an email from Emma-jo Du Bryun offering me below:

Good day Mr. Bogosi,

I trust this mail finds you well.

I have tried contacting you however I have been unsuccessful.

I would like to offer you a limited time discount on your home loan interest rate for moving over your personal accounts to FNB Premier;

· Salary needs to go through the FNB premier cheque account

· Debit orders need to go through the FNB premier cheque account

· The home loan debit order needs to be going through a FNB account

· If you qualify for a credit card then you would need to swipe the credit card at least once a month to qualify for the discount

Please let me know if you would like to take up this offer and I will be able to assist.

Kind regards,

Emma-Jo du Bruyn | Growth Banker | FNB Premium Banking
| Tel: (087) **********

I have since comp**** with all requirements as agreed upon to receive the discount on my newly activated home loan interest rate but still the discount has not been app****, I now have to call and email to find out when will it be app****, the person I spoke to via email Emma-Jo, I cannot get a hold of, as now the emails I send to her get returned saying the person does not exist. The premium banking now referrers me to the home loan department but it was not the home loan department that promised me the discount, not sure why the premium banking does note make sure the discount is app**** and why now I have to run around calling different departments to get this sorted. The next call I make will be to the Ombudsman for Banking Services, as I followed the procedure for complaint I have emailed the department that promised me the discount and their reply was the home loan department will contact me and they have not done so. This will be my last complaint to FNB and will give FNB 48 hours to get back to me failure to do so I will lodge a formal complaint with the Ombudsman for Banking Services.
