home loan decline

Good day Credit Department (Homeloans)

I was very disappointed, shocked and hurt to learn that fnb declined my request for a mortgage loan on the basis of debt review or i owe the fnb credit card which was settled in full in 2015
Let me place this on record, I place this entirely on fnb shoulders.i paid up the credit card 2015t but now the feedback i got is that I’m still under debt counselling ...i have settled all the debts i had and apparently on my Experian credit record it still shows that i owe std bank R19000.0can this be rectictified ...i don’t have a roof over my head
Unfortunately this is beyond my control as I had hoped that fnb will approve my bond application The failure on fnb is that they don't check or update records i had financial constrains in the past which i agree but i felt like the door has been shut in my face
To learn that I have been declined by standard bank a mortgage loan due to affordability or - what a gall? Can someone attend to this Urgently before i loose my mind .....Thamsanqa Radebe ********** 093
