Home Loan application

We have approached FNB for a home loan over 6months ago in which they advised that we were declined due to adverse information on our accounts. We then approached them last month again, they have again declined the application firstly stating that my risk profile showed a loan that went into arrears nearly two years ago, I then provided them with proof that the loan was settled as well as proof that their risk department confirmed that my profile was updated and cleared. They then forwarded the application again for review and this time have declined it due to more than six months ago my husband taking out temp loans with them. This has really been an unfair judgement as we have proved that affordability is in order but are now being penalised for things happening more than six months ago. these accounts do not even appear on our credit profiles with the bureaus any longer. I have approached the NCR on this matter and have been advised to do a complaint through them aswell as we have followed all advise from FNB with regards to securing a home loan, and we have been able to provide proof that all advise from the application last year has been adhered to and yet still as our bank they do not want to assist and keep bringing up old information. I would like this matter to be reviewed and answered as stories and reasons for declines keep on changing. If this is not resolved I will be closing my account with FNB and will not ever in my life do business with them again.
