Home loan

I have been a loyal customer of FNB from when I had my BOB account, to my student account, to my graduate portfolio and now with my private clients account.

I have been with your bank for years and am even insured with you. You declined my home loan application last week due to my husband’s credit profile. I can afford the home alone and the bond originator will be resubmitting the application next week with a new OTP in my name alone. I hope that you will approve it this time, because, as per your feedback to the bond originator, we have now removed the reason for the loan being declined.

I am sorry to say that should you not approve the home loan this time, I will be closing my accounts and cancelling my insurance with immediate effect. It’s outrageous to me that you will take my earnings (which aren’t a pittance) and not approve me. I’m a degreed professional with an excellent credit score. I would sincerely hope that the loyalty I’ve given you over the years will see you helping me secure my home. If not, FNB is really not interested in my wellbeing and it is high time I cut ties.
