Holding unto my money to get themselves some extra interest
*****ing interest by holding money back that was paid into my revolving credit. Yesterday morning I paid money into my revolving credit (from my current account, to my revolving credit. Not from another bank, not from a credit card). Wanted to loosen up some funds. Its been. bad month (tyres and vet bills). What happened, paid the money across, nothing shows. Contact the FNB chat line:"Oh no, it takes 12 hours to show". Can I transfer from my budget (credit card)? Oh no, the batch processes run on Sunday so you can't do that. This morning I checked again, guess what, no money paid into my revolving credit. Contacted FNB again:"oh no, yesterday was a non working day so it'll take another 24 hours (strange debit orders don't need working days, as they gone of like clock work, and I am not in the red). But FNB likes it like that, they hold on to your money so you can't pay your debit orders and then they penalise you for every failure, and they take the interest off the money that is now sitting in limbo. Pathetic, *********** *******
