Highway *******

I have tried repeatedly to get someone to explain as to why FNB has not updated the fixed deposit investment interest rates, given that the Reserve Bank has recently increased the repro rate twice, up by 1.25% since late November 2022. FNB's website still currently shows the various rates as at 15 November 2022. If you have borrowed from them, the interest rates charged have been increased, but nothing has been adjusted for those who wish to invest in one of their products.

Reviewer Update
Their reply clearly shows that FNB are not prepared to provide an open-to-view answer in writing in public. My negative review on their terrible (uncaring) service is surely of enormous interest and extreme concern to all those who wish to receive a fair and ethical return on their respective investments. Many of us older folk rely significantly on this form of income to survive as best we can in this country. FNB should openly advise all their customers as to why the current interest rates have not been adjusted upwards, but they are obviously scared to do so because their approach is impossible to justify . “How can I help you” motto should be changed to “We cannot help you and don’t really care”
I would encourage all individuals who are in a similar situation with the way FNB treats their
personal investment needs to also write a review on how they view this abuse of power.
Just look at all the negative (terrible) comments / reviews on FNB on the Hello Peter website each and every day.
