Highly dissapointing FNB Banking Service

After swiping my FNB Credit Card and it was declined several times, it was an embaressment to find out that my upgraded banking service was no longer working because my branch neglected to inform me of the upgrade and to collect my card.

I then went to Woodlands FNB Branch where I had to wait more than an hour and a half (the automated queing slip showed waiting time - 12 minutes)for a consultant to attend the matter, just to show me on the system that the branch neglected to send out the sms for the collection of my card. As I explained to the consultant that I urgently need my Credit Card as I am going away on holiday for Christmas they informed me that there is absolutely nothing they can do about it. They then promised to send the card as soon as possible. I clearly explained to the consultant that the card must be delivered to the FNB WOODLANDS BRANCH as I will be out of the country with no cellphone reception and will collect the card from FNB Woodlands branch on my return from my holiday.

On my return to the branch today 4 January 2017 at 2h00 I once again was told by the branch that unfortunately my card has not been delivered by the courier company because they could not get hold off me ( once again referring to the fact that I clearly told them before that they can not courier the card as I will not have cellphone reception)

After phoning the credit department from the branch 3 times no one answered the phones. I went back home and tried phoning from 3h00 to 5h00 with no success.

I am highly disgusted with FNB as they caused me great inconvenience going on holiday without my credit card and with my return still facing *********** service.

So much for their slogan "How can we help you" it just shows that they don't really care about their customers. What a dissapointment. Definitely considering closing my account with FNB.
