Highly disappointed

My credit card has been stopped, sent an email to FNB and received no response as yet, I am highly disappointed with their services and the way in which customers are treated.

Please be advised that prior to me opening up my fnb account, I did have a Standard bank account which i was not utilising for my salary. My salary was going into a third party account and i have since spilt up with my partner and have no contact with him. When i app**** for this credit card, it was approved based on my current employment and salary and hence do not see why i need to provide any further information.

I have met the qualifying criteria and hence received my credit card. FNB has access to my account to verify my salary for the past three months and i dont deem it fair that after being approved and after receiving and utilising my card, now there are issues. These checks were done and hence my credit card approved and received.

I opened up my fnb account as i experienced personal problems with my partner...he was abusive and therefore we no longer together and therefore i am unable to get his statements to show my previous income.

But this brings me back to my point, my credit card was approved based on current employment and salary and not my previous employment.

I deem its only fair thats my funds be released and i continue utilising and paying my credit card instalments on a monthly basis.
